Good Bye! *sobs sobs*
i thought i will be happy after leaving this place. i didn't think that i will feel this sad when i leave. it's ironic where after ppl know you're leaving, they're are extra good to you. hmm...should tell them i'll be leaving earlier. haha! the things they did for me make it harder for me to go. they are extra nice, extra attentive and extra friendly to me when counting down to my final day there. are they feeling happy that i'm leaving or they want to treat me a little better before they lose the chance? hmmm....i believe it was the latter reason. :)
well, i always say i wanted a 'guang guang lik lik' farewell. i made it very clear to the organiser too. :) but, i did not expect it to be so unforgettable. on my second last day, 29.7.10, i dated several colleagues for lunch. so we went down and wait for the transport to arrive. then, my manager called me and said there's a huge problem with my project and insist i clear it before going for lunch. by this time, i was nervous like hell. *aiyoh, takkan problem happen wen i was about to leave?*
then, on the way to the office, i smelled chicken wings. then i saw pizzas. then i saw my colleagues jumping out of nowhere and said 'Surpirse!'. it was a BIG surprise indeed. they wanted to make me cry but i did not. well, there's a drop of tear that was pushing its way to go out but i hold it back because i was too surprised to even feel moved! i actually wanted to say many things during my speech on my last day (the farewell supposed to be on friday). but, with such short notice i can only blurt out Thank You to them.
it was fun working here with the people. at least this place has more freedom where you can laugh (but not too loud), eat, drink, listen to music and chit chat. time passes very fast here. it's a surprise that this job is the longest i worked at. if i'm 30 yrs old and wanted some slow paced lifestyle, i'll definitely choose this place without a doubt.
also, it's great to hear from my Managing Editor and Manager that they still hoping for me to come back one day if i dun like my new place. i was tempted for a moment. but, i need to give myself a chance out there. it's happy to know that i built a good reputation here. at least i have no problems with my work and my relationship with my colleagues are good, to say the least.
i will remember the times i had there with those ppl. *muaks!*
